Slim Quick diet pills

Based on the product name alone I'd stay far, far away. Anthing that claims to make you thin "quick" isn't healthy. Eat less, exercise more is a winning combination every time.

I have tried them, back when I was desparately trying to lose weight to donate part of my liver. They were (for me, anyway) nothing but a waste of money.
 
The best way to lose weight is a change in lifestyle, not a pill. I took a quick look online and don't see anything in Slim Quick pills that makes me think it is any different then anything else.

In my opinion the best method is to journal everything you eat. It will force you to look at the label, know what a single serving is, and track everything. Most people underestimate the calories they take in and many times it is because we eat multiple servings in a single meal. For example filling a cereal bowl with your morning cereal and milk is often times 3 or 4 servings of each.

Along with knowing what you are consuming an increase in physical activity also helps. I think the 30 minutes of daily exercise is low but you also don't want to over do it at the start and end up hurt.

Losing weight isn't an overnight thing so give it time.

If you are looking for tips I would recommend heading to the WISH boards. There is plenty of information available there.
 
While you will find 1 or 2 people here and there who have success with everything, I find that a large majority of the people I know have done nothing but waste a lot of money on anything containing the words "diet" and "pill."

As PP's have said. Watching portion sizes, knowing what you are eating, and adding exercise to your daily routine will work wonders. Most people get impatient because they need to lose the weight by a certain time/event, but losing weight in a healthy manner will always take time.
 
my grandmother use to work at GNC she told me any weight loss pills you can buy in the store are useless. Reduce calories and exercise.

If you really think about it, if popping any of these "diet pills" actually worked, there would be no obesity in this country..

Short of risky surgery (which can also backfire and cause you to regain the weight again), the advice given above is the only way to be successful..
