I think you should only comment on this program if you actually know what you are talking about. It doesn't tell you to just not eat ice cream and get a workout in. And if $60 is a ton of money for you, then I think you have more to worry about than just exercising.
The problem is that some people need the discipline that comes with this type of program. Granted, anyone can lose weight by just dieting and exercise, but it becomes easier when the tools are laid out for you in a simple way. It does have 3 levels of workouts. You do each for 2 weeks or until you feel up to moving to the next level and it includes a meal plan to get you eating healthy.
This program started me down my healthy lifestyle. Prior to this, I did diet and exercise with minimal results. I struggled like everyone else and felt that I needed something else, cause doing it on my own was not getting me where I wanted to be. I dropped 25 lbs in the frist six weeks of doing Slim in 6 and then another 10 the following month. I stuck with the meal plan during that additional month and continued to workout 5 days/week.
I used it for about 1.5 years, then I felt the need to elevate my exercise regimine to the next level and I am now in my second round of P90X, which is distributed by the same company.
