OK, on the day we go to EPCOT, Future World closes at 7:00 and WS closes at 9:00.
My question is, does anything in Future World stay open past 7:00? It looks like we'll be parking on that side and since we'll have to walk back through to get to the cars, I figure we'll just have the kids do their souvenir shopping on the way out if any shops are still open...will this work?
TIA for any help! :)

Some of the shops will be open and sometimes Spaceship Earth runs after 7:00. Test Track runs later sometimes also. Not sure of the rest. We're usually back in WS by early afternoon and don't leave until after illuminations.

Mouse Gear (the BIG gift shop in FW) ALWAYS stays open VERY late.
The "twin gift shops" at the entrance to WS are also open as those leaving IllumiNations file past (and through.)

As for FW "rides" that MIGHT stay open 'til 9pm: Soarin', Test Track, Spaceship Earth (and at times Mission Space.)

I agree nothing is ever guaranteed, but I think its pretty safe to say that Test Track, Soarin and probably Mission Space will be open until 9PM. I was there just this January and had a fast pass for Soarin at 7:50.

yes, these were all open till 9 as of last week: Test Track, Mission Space and Soarin also the Electric Umbrella restaurant was open past 7 (not sure what time it closed) and the Mouse Gear store.

Although the "official" closing time for Future World is normally 7pm, the popular atrractions like Test Track, Mission: Space, Soarin' and Spaceship Earth remain open until 9pm....or the closing time of World Showcase.... every day. Someone posted recently that WDW started putting up signs on the attractions that do remain open.

When you are leaving the area, be sure to 'look down' at your feet as you pass towards Spaceship Earth. There are tiny lights in the pavement that light up as you walk over them....very magical!! It's one of our favorite things to do when we leave at night.

There's that big electronic billboard at the entrance that lists what rides are open, and the approximate wait times.

On our April and September trips, everything stayed open late. In December, the only things that stayed open were Test Track, Mission Space, and Spaceship Earth.

Thank you so much for all the replies! :goodvibes

We will definitely look for the light up sidewalks, that sounds so neat!! :thanks:
