Slightly blasphemous question!

I think this board is great. But is there anything similar (with park strategies, general chit chat etc.) for the NON Disney attractions in Orlando? (mainly the Universal ones, as they are my family's favourites)

Sorry - didn't make myself clear - I meant a UK-flavoured one, but thanks anyway :-)

if you are having problems getting answers to a question either drop me a pm and post here. pretty knowledgable on universal :)

Universal is our favourite park. We were there in Dec and went there more then Disney! They had a ticket that cost less that two days entrance but was valid for 5 days from first date of use. Bought it from their web site, printed off the ticket and just took it to the gate on the day. It was great, meant we could drop in as we wanted.

We will be virtually living there too - only 5 mins from our hotel - and we have their 5 park flex ticket alredy booked - unlimited access to both Universale parks, Sea World, Wet n Wild & BuschGardens for the whole 2 weeks we are there :-)

My older boys (who will be 15 and 16 by the time we travel) will probably not bother doing Disney at all - sacrilege! Except probably MGM as they love the Rock n Roller Coaster & TOT

Bu I have a 3 yr old (by then) also so of course I want to take him to MK and AK also.

we've done Epcot to death in past years and, although I'd love to go have a chat with Crush, there isn't much else there that we haven't seen, so we'll probably give it a miss this time

My main regret is that, given our hotel's close proximity to Wet n Wild and the fact we have the unlimited access, we won't be going to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon this year - and in my opinion they are SO much better than W&W

Plenty is talked about on this board that is not Disney.

I think because we are travelling so far to get there the majority of UK'ers tend to view it as a trip to Orlando and everything that means , not just a trip to Disney.

I have not seen a non-Disney (but trip related) thread moved from here.

So post your questions on US etc
