slight differences between WDW and DL characters

We just got back from five days at DL and I was surprised to find a few differences between the characters at DL and WDW.

In WDW, you can get Koda's and Kenai's autographs, but you cannot at DL because they can't write with their paws.

In WDW, Buzz and Woody have stamp autographs, but in DL, they actually sign autograph books.

The same is true for the Incredibles...in WDW, they stamp, but in DL, they sign.

And in DL, we saw Belle in her yellow gown twice! We have only seen her in her blue and white outfit at WDW, except in the Beauty and the Beast show.

I thought this was interesting!

Interesting! Was this the meet and greet at MGM? That's the only place we've ever seen Woody at WDW (though I've heard he's appearing at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon now at MK), and he and Buzz have stamped our books many a time!

We actually met the Incredibles when they first came out in October and they signed our books then, but a CM who posts here often (AngieBelle) said that they've changed to stamps due to have problems holding pens with their gloves.

Actually, in WDW, Elastigirl signed "Elastigirl," but in Disneyland last week, she signed "Mrs. Incredible." Odd! :)

Thanks for the info! Must be neat to compare the two parks! :flower:

I got a written autograph from Woody at Magic Kingdom, and a stamped autograph at MGM. I had a signature from Elastigirl from late October, but she signed "Mrs. Incredible".

I always wondered if Disneyland had characters that did meets that WDW didn't. Someday I want to get to Disneyland, but I am not too happy with the thought of flying. So until I get over that, I can just dream! :cloud9:

HugsForEeyore,

We love to collect autographs as much as your family does, and I love the fact that you've posted your nephew's book for us all to see.

We FINALLY met Rabbit at Critter Country in Disneyland last week, but I'm still so jealous that you met Thumper at MNNSHP this past year. We went to two parties in October 2004 and we somehow missed him!

The biggest difference about meeting characters at WDW and DL is at DL, there are very few character handlers! Sometimes it's only one person bouncing back between 2-4 characters and sometimes the characters are completely alone! It can be a scary "mob" scene when they first come onstage, but usually a line forms after a minute or two.

I also think there are a lot more characters at WDW, but obviously there are four parks to search for them! :goodvibes

Amy :)
