We have booked a sleigh ride at the wilderness lodge in december.
Information is below!!

Wilderness Lodge Holiday Sleigh Rides 2008

Holidays at Walt Disney World
Back for the Christmas Holidays, this horsdrawn "sleigh" ride is a fun way to celebrate the season at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Price: $60.00

Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under.

This 25 minute sleigh ride departs every 30 minutes from 5:30 - 9:30pm. The 2008 dates have not been announced but it customarily takes place during the month of December.

This excursion can be booked up to 90 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY

I just called and made a ressie for the sleigh ride. It is located at the Wilderness Lodge. Cost is $60.00 plus tip at your discretion. You may bring your own drinks. They will provide a blanket for you in the sleigh. Credit card required to hold ressie. Driver will only take cash or room charge, no credit card charge available. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Also, if there is inclimate weather, do not assume that the ride is cancelled you have to check with the driver first. If there is inclimate weather they will reschedule your sleigh ride.

We had this booked but then we asked around. Most people say this is not worth the 60 dollars. Apparently they take you down a dark path where you can not see anything and then turn around and bring you back. However...there is a wago ride where at 9:30 one can see the fireworks and that only costs 8 dollars a person. :goodvibes :santa:

I discussed this with my husband and I think we will probably cancel this ressie. I assumed there would be lighted decorations or some type of scenery to justify $60.
