I remember watching Land of the Lost when I was young(er), and I loved it. I have caught a few re-runs and cannot believe how fake everything looks. Technology sure has spoiled us, hasn't it.

Yep, occasionally now when I feel the need for "super power," I'll look at my DD and say, "Wonder Twin Powers: Activate!" She doesn't get it at all

I hate SLEESTACKS (is that even how it's spelled???) They always hid behind every corner of those caves and I would yell at the TV, "Will! Holly! Don't go there! Don't go!" Didn't they have to go into the water to get to the sleestack caves? That was really scary to little kids!

He played Mike Horton on Days of our Lives for a few years even while he was on Land of the Lost. His name was Wesley Eure (I know I spelled that wrong)

I loved Land of the Lost and all the Sid and Marty Kroft cartoons. I also watched Kimba the White Lion, Mighty Mouse, Winky Dink and you, Crusader Rabbit ( this is going back to the 50's) and Heckle and Jeckle. Dang, I am old!

I loved Land of the Lost and was also freaked out by the Sleestacks! However, that little mokey boy looking thing (I forget what he was called) freaked me out more, even though he was a friend of the family!

What was the name of the pet dinosaur on land of the lost? This was the one who always got hungry for those giant berries and began to "cry" drawing the attention of the BIG dinos and the creepy Sleestaks.

When I was in middle school, a friend of mine used to call this girl we knew, Sleestak. Cracks me up to think about it.

I think they just called the dinosaur "baby" but I'm not sure. I always wanted braids like Holly's. Weren't the Sleestacks protecting some magical crystals or something? And there was one wise old Sleestack or something wasn't there?
