When we last left our intrepid family, they had finished Day 2 in MK and gone home to VWL for much needed sleep. . .
TUES, 12 Apr
We had EMH, so I hit RnRC twice in less than 20 minutes, then trotted over to TOT for a 5 minute wait there. I had done TOT last August, but this was my first time on RnRC which was great fun--they even gave me my undies back that were left at the platform when we blasted off! After that, we caught MERMAID, then dashed right across to PLAYHOUSE DISNEY which had been closed until just the day before. BATB was next, but the pre-show is the best part. Due to the timing of the various venues, we actually had time to shuffle around a bit, catching IJ in the meantime, though it went over DD4's head--the concept, not any bullets or anything.

We had a 4 p.m. PS for Brown Derby FANTASMIC pkg, and you can find the review of said restaurant (shameless plug) in my post under Disney Restaurants. To kill time between the finish of dinner (BTW, who knew they taped the din and hubbub from BD to use in crowd scenes for movies!) and Mickey slaying the dragon, we did ONE MAN'S DREAM and the BACKLOT TOUR. Both were more enjoyable than we anticipated, though I do have one editorial comment to make here: people, turn. . .off. . .your. . .cellphones. Can you not unplug yourself for a few moments, heck a few hours, and not use that cursed device? Right in the middle of DREAM, a woman begins chatting loudly on her phone! Numerous dirty looks and one gesture from a guest next to me finally got her to hang up.

FANTASMIC was, of course, the highlight of the day, er, night. Unlike August, when we sat in pouring rain for nearly an hour but did get to see the show when the rain stopped 15 mins. prior to showtime, this time the weather was exceptional. . .as it was all week, actually. DD4 is thrilled by the adventure of it all, and is truly thankful that Mickey is so daring and brave. We swam through the crowd leaving, of course--it's like trying to stay afloat during an avalanche. I had DD4 on my shoulders and she was shouting, "Look out! Coming through!" Very funny. . .well, it was to me.
FANTASMIC - :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: Makes me feel like a kid again, and what a task that is given my age.
BATB - :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: 1/2 Much fun, but Four for a Dollar steal the show every time.
BACKLOT TOUR - :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: I swear I saw Howard Hughes back there. . .
IJ - :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: Did you know that boulder is a fake? Makes me wonder if the gunshots and explosions aren't real, either. . .

Well, I would do another day, but t-storms are threatening. Bear with me and I will finish, I promise. . .or is that a threat? :umbrella:
