Sleepy Hollow waffles

Just saw a review of the new waffles and it looks like the berries are no longer fresh and the reviewer said the waffles were soggy.

With so many people saying these are a great value, it it any wonder they were changed for something of lesser quality? "Great values" aren't Disney's goal.

We just missed this change, as we were at MK earlier in the week. Sad to hear a change was made to one of favorite menu items.

Hopefully they change back like when they removed the noodles from 'ohana.

My girlfriend is pretty mad at this, the fruit waffle was our go to breakfast item, and I enjoyed the waffle sandwich if we went there after breakfast. It just doesn't make sense to remove snacks you can move around the park with for items that are really only edible sitting down at a restaurant with VERY limited seating.

These items I don't think were ever available on the DDP, so they weren't losing money with people using snack credits on them. I would rather they have raised the price a dollar to keep on menu. I assume if they ever return they will have a hefty price increase.

This is terrible news. I love a Mickey Waffle but this mash up is a no. UNLESS they gave you two Mickey waffles so you could do a sandwich!

Hopefully they change it back by 2026.

I was hoping the change was so they’d make their allergy friendly Mickey waffles there too but it doesn’t sound like that is the case. Not sure why the change otherwise, they could have raised the price or reduced the toppings on the same waffle sandwich.

I was willing to give this a try, but then I saw that the berries aren’t fresh anymore either! What a disgrace! I will not be wasting money or snack credits on these since those berries will be gross and the Nutella looks extremely skimpy.

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. This was the only place left to eat with the exception of the cheeseburger eggroll cart since we lost Pecos Bill. We are taking a 5 night trip in October. No parks as we've spent 100's of days in the parks. We are DVC and it cost all of $11.20 for four nonstop SWA tickets.

Captain Cook's at Poly, Mara and Boma when we are at AKV and Chicken Guy and Earl when at DS. We will likely do Steakhouse71 and Topolino's. Our options are limited...why are the parks so limited in food options?

It is on the way to Adventureland past Crystal Palace (towards right) if I remember correctly. It is a cart, so it may have moved since December 2022. There are benches all around (for once) so there are places to sit. Enjoy!

I had legit added this to our MK to do list as I had heard so much about these waffles. The fruit isn’t fresh now?! What the heck?!! This was going to be our fun affordable late breakfast now that they no longer have BOG breakfast (which DD is crushed about as she has fond memories of this). Why do they continue to take great things away?!

DFB posted that hush puppies are back at CHH. Some of the changes don't surprise me, they tend to find cheaper options when the free DDP is offered...since the waffle does qualify as a snack. They use cheaper cuts of meats in restaurants and often buy lesser quality ingredients to maximize savings when the DDP is offered for free (I had a friend who was a Chef and he hated anytime free dining was offered because it meant lesser quality food).

Gone and instead Tiana's I believe? We last ate at PB's December 2022. It wasn't the greatest at that point and I felt like everything from the tables to the floors was icky and sticky...it really needed help. Miss the taco bar toppings from pre-covid!

Just to annoy us I think. We have very few food options left at any parks but you have to eat somewhere so it is the lesser of evils. WDW could and should improve food options at QS. We would always get the chicken waffles and eat at PB's at MK. The eggroll cart and dole whip is all that is left. I barely cook and I could do a MUCH better job coming up with interesting menu items that don't cost a fortune!

We do better at the resorts and like Steakhouse71, Boma and Topolino's best.

It is still there. There were / are rumors of it changing, but that would require Disney putting money into something. Doubt it will happen.

My daughter is going in a few weeks and was upset when I told her. This is her favorite thing to get at MK. MK has such horrible food this was one of the only things we ate in the park as a meal.

I can't believe I don't see anyone talking about this yet! I read that the waffles have been replaced with Mickey Waffles. I love Mickey Waffles but I don't see how this is going to work!View attachment 871211
