Sleepy Hollow Caramel Corn

A CM friend of mine just instant messaged me -

WDW is planning on dropping the caramel corn served at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom by the end of the month. Why? Cost. They make it from scratch every day and it's costing too much.

Don't know if there are fans of the caramel corn here, but thought I would pass it on. My CM friend is outraged! He wants Dlovers to know so that they can write or call.

It will be interesting to see if this comes to be. I've never tried the caramel corn, I didn't have the heart to tell him that! Now he'll know when he reads this!

Is anyone a fan of this caramel corn? Have you ever seen the cms make it?

My wife and I just returned from WDW, and we love Sleepy Hollow's caramel corn!! Little did we realize that this visit would be our last time to eat it...and that is just unacceptable!!! Who can we write or talk to in order to keep this from happening?

They actually dropped it several years ago, then added it back again, but it was not the same. They literally used to make it fresh all day long, and it was to die for! Then I believe what they did was make it and packaged it, but it was NOT the same. This is just another thing to go by the wayside thanks to the stupid DDP and "Free Dining". I am so sick of it.

Is this the place by the Hall of Presidents? If so I am devasted...this was my favorite snack ever! We are going this weekend but not planning on hitting MK at all....maybe I will have to venture over there for a couple of tubs of my all time must do snack.

They used to have it in HS too, wonder if they will take that away as well

DH gets the big tub every visit...He actually just said that he planned on getting it first thing on our next trip so he has it for the room...He will be so upset to hear this news
