sleepovers and age..

Yeah, i don't really count 'grandpa and grandmas/aunts uncles house' as a sleep over, because they are with close family...I'm thinking more along the lines of being at a friends house. My girls have stayed with grandparents and aunts/uncles homes a few times- with no problems at all.

DD8 had a great sleep over last night, although I was a bit mad at the time they finally go to sleep (just before 3) and woke up at about 6:45...I feel bad for those parents today, I'm sure they are tired. DD is soooooo tired, but we've had things going on ALL DAY, we didn't get home until about 10 minutes ago and she's a BEAR, I'm thinking bed time is coming sooner than later. She's ready for bed now, but I don't want her to sleep until at least 7, or she'll be up super early in the morning and the day will be wrecked tomorrow too!

She had a great time, other than the large dog that they have there being a bit nippy- and he's big, so it almost feels like he's trying to be mean (he's not- but she's not used to that!) When i went to get her this morning, there were about 12 girls there- only 5 spent the night, the rest came in the morning. WOW, that's a lot of work.

I guess my son was 8 before his first sleepover. We've always given him instructions to call us if he wanted to come home.
