Sleeping toddler and kid swap?

So I just discovered that kid swap at Universal is run differently than at Disney in that everyone waits in line together and then splits up at the end to take turns riding while one parent stays with the child.

I have a 2 year old who naps and at Disney one of us sits with the napping toddler in her stroller while the other uses a rider switch pass to go on a ride. What happens in Universal? Can we take our sleeping toddler in her stroller through the line? Or will we just have to take turns sitting out a ride?

Strollers aren't allowed in the line, so you'll most likely have to carry your child. You should ask the attendants at the front of the line what you should do, though. Maybe they'll let you swap through the exit.

You can also take advantage of the single rider line for some rides; one person stays outside with the child and then you switch. The single rider line for all attractions is generally not very long.

Thanks. No way could we pick her up and have her stay asleep. Single rider line it is!
