The Disney TV series, Once Upon a Time used that as a plot device when they introduced Aurora.

I think the best real world answer to this question would be found by asking a coma patient if they experience any trepidation when going to sleep. I'm not entirely sure how to broach that subject with someone who has suffered a trauma like that or if it is at all even appropriate to do so.

Honestly I don't think it really is appropriate to ask someone in the real world. It was just a question that popped into my head and to see what others thought.
