Yup. It was like this 4 years ago in the lead up to the start of the 60th with lots of walls.

Are there going to be walls around so no view of ithe castle at all? Or just the walk thru attraction part closed off?

It will likely have scaffolding with a cover scrim over it.

It'll be a bummer, but it definitely won't ruin our trip, that's for sure.

I'm so thrilled that the DLRR is open again, that'll make up for no real castle view!

Very good point. My last trip, the railroad was closed and I was bummed. For my Feb trips dates so far, the refurb schedule isn't too devastating. The castle is a loss but there are plenty of other iconic spots for pics.

Yup, the DLRR was closed on our last trip, too, and we really missed it!

Right when the refurbishment and work begins on the castle originally the new fireworks/projection show Mickey's Mix Magic was set to debut. So I'm curious if the show was shelved in favor of working on the castle or if it's still set to go on?

Crazy how quickly things changed between the show announcement and schedule release! It's weird it's still being advertised for the after hours Sweethearts' Nite on the event page, but all signs currently point to some sort of significant castle work.

Sorry to ask such a silly question. When the castle is under construction, can you still walk on the bridge through to Fantasyland?

No, they are suppose to be redoing the whole roof so I imagine there will be scaffolding around the entire castle and they will put a printed scrim up.

I think that the exclusion of the castle from the MMM description was intentional - I expect the projection show to happen as announced. I think it notably said "Main Street" instead of castle.

Likely not. And my guess is that once the closure starts you’ll be able to get more accurate answers.
