We are going to stay at a value resort for a week next year; my kids will be 4 and 6. I see the rooms either have 2 double beds or one king. Has anyone ever gotten the king bed for the adults and then used air mattresses or something similar for small children, to maximize space in the room when everyone is up...??

I tried that when I booked and they said it wasn't allowed. If you have 4 people you have to have the 2 double beds.

King rooms only sleep 2 at the Values and Mods.
I think a couple of deluxe resorts have a daybed in addition to the King and those rooms will sleep 3.

Most of the King rooms at the values are handicapped accessible and have less sleeping area than a standard room.

That is because the HA rooms have the same square footage as the standard rooms but the HA rooms need a larger bathroom to accomodate a WC thus leaving less room in the sleeping area.

Have fun at Disney!:wizard:

in a king bed room, you are only allowed 2 adults unless you have an infant who will be in a crib. any more then 2 people (including children) will have to get a room with 2 double beds.
