Sorry to hear that, Mousse. If you don't mind me asking, what does your signature say that could possibly cause attention. And, could you share more of the conversation?

The thing is, I'm trying to define in some loose way what they are really looking for. For example, I have taken 'mummy' out of my signature for fear of being accused of revealing my age (and now the boys are hitting on me again and saying things like, 'please, baby baby'! Yuck!).

I usually spend my evening time hanging with my family, and we are quite naturally 'familiar' with each other, and it wouldn't be much fun if we had to tighten that up much more. But, as long as I am playing, I wouldn't want to lose the loot I've accumulated on my main character.

So, if those that get warned or banned could be as specific as possible...

There is where I think the 1984 Eye in the Sky needs to use a little common sense. The surf spot if obviously a room of ADULTS! No one is luring kiddies into anything dark. Why ban adults that are not bothering anyone?

They need to spend a little more time in the kiddie rooms where tantrums are regularly thrown and creative language is in abundance! I can't tell you how often I see someone talk about where they live. They don't immediately disappear! I see obvious swearing, they don't get slapped with the glove.

I understand the rules and I also understand that until staff starts living by those rules and leading by example, they needs to use a little common sense when deciding bans.

The guy that got banned for his costume! Last weak there was a player with green flips dressed exectly like male staff was going into room warning players about trading. I know him and it is not a generous heart, it was to impersonate a staff member. I reposted him. He didn't disappear.

I guess someone staff was cranky for being up so late!

To me, it should be obvious why you are banned. You shouldn't have to wonder "was it this or was it that? They need to send you a PM saying, "you said this and that is why you are banned". This is so silly!
In the dance game yesterday I saw 2 girls argueing and one said to the other "stupid beach". They continued on posting for quite a while, so no white glove slapped her sorry butt...and she deserved it!
glad you got some extra sleep. I finally got into the surf spot last night and my whole computer froze after I finally changed into my feathers - which took forever to do too. That should have been my first sign of trouble.

ARG!! I had brought my DS account on to trade with me. I left him in his room while I got my own account logged on. When I got to his room, a few kids had shown up. A boy was wearing the divers suit, and was stating "My private is warm" OMG, I immediately reported him as he continued to repeat it. I went into and completed the trade. When the trade screen was gone, I saw the boy was there, still repeating that line, even though a few girls had come in. Again I reported, and went to my son's friends list, and (you got it) he was there. I removed him from his list. When my son got home from school, I explained what had happened, and that I would be keeping an eye on his list to be sure this boy did not get back on it. I am so very glad he hasn't been 'hit' by that white glove for merely being in the prescence of this boy. Where was that white glove anyway, that allowed this boy to remain and continue to say that??
