Skyliner to dinner on arrival day?

We're arriving in late July for a stay at Pop. We won't be going to a park on arrival day since our flights arrive later in the day. Since we haven't ridden on the Skyliner yet, I thought it would be fun to take a ride to one of the other Skyliner resorts for dinner. We've never stayed at CBR or Riviera....what's your favorite eats at either of those? Preferably a no-reservations needed restaurant since our flights could run late. Thanks!

We've never dined there... but we've heard great things about Primo Piatto (The QS at Riviera) and will be doing something similar when we arrive in a couple of weeks.

I agree. I’d go check out Riviera. Have something to eat at the QS, walk around and then hit the French cafe or gelato stand before leaving.

If something at neither CBR or Riviera appeals to you, there's also the option of taking the Skyliner all the way to Epcot and eating somewhere at the BW or BC/YC. That's what we did in early March.

If you think of it, can you pop back to this thread and let me know how it was? Both the Skyliner and the restaurant....bc we haven't done either. Have a GREAT trip!

I also heard mentions of a coffee stand at one of the Skyliner stops. Is that the french cafe you're referring to or something else entirely? I'm such a newbie where all things Skyliner are concerned!

There's a Joffrey's at the CBR station right when you walk down the ramp on the CBR side (as opposed to getting off the Pop line).

I haven’t visited myself ( tho I tried Dec 9, 2019 but was only open to invited guests on Day 1 lol).

There’s also a Gelato Cart... I think it’s outside?

I really enjoyed Spyglass Grill at CBR, but it appears it is closed at the moment. Riviera wasn't open the last time I was there, but there have been a lot of people raving about their QS. Just about anything will be better than what you can get at POP or AOA right now.
