New DVC owners and we are trying to visit a ton of places during our boardwalk stay this week.

If we were at Old Key West and wanted to get to the boardwalk villas, could we take bus from Old Key West to Hollywood Studios and then Skyliner from HS to Epcot/Boardwalk?

I read earlier in the summer you had to have a ticket to get onto Skyliner but wasn’t sure if you were coming back from Parks / going from a resort to park via Bus. Any thoughts appreciated!

I don't know where you read this, but it simply is not true. You don't need a ticket to get on the Skyliner any more than you'd need a ticket to get on the monorail at TTC or Epcot. All Skyliner stations are outside of the parks.

Enjoy your vacation.

Been on the Skyliner several times since it started service and was never asked for a ticket.

Awesome thank you all! I thought I read this back when the skyliner first reopened over the summer that they were looking for people to have tickets if you were trying to ride. Thanks for the info!

You can ride it in circles all day long even if you aren't staying at a Disney resort or have theme park tickets.
