Honest question. My son is an early riser. Is it considered rude if I take him to stand in line for the skyliner and have my husband and daughter join us later?

I know saving spots in a line for a ride isn’t allowed but I wasn’t sure about the skyliner since we will all be in the same gondola and not making anyone else’s wait longer.

Your reasoning is slightly off because during the busy times they do have people share gondolas.

I think there's at least a negative internal reaction for me when suddenly there are more people in front of me than there were previously after I've been waiting for a while.

However, I imagine lots of people do what you are thinking about and I doubt anyone would confront you about it.

I have seen lines gathering BEFORE the Skyliner even starts runinng at POP/AOA, if that's what you mean. I have been there super-early. It starts as a ill-defined "line" or just groups really hanging out on the bridge. It will become a line. I don't think that it is a problem at all if people come join you. It's really chill that early. Once they start running though it will move fast. After the initial clear-out of the built up line, there will be practically no wait anyway. So, unless you want to go hang with the park commandos who are there at the crack of dawn, it's not much to worry about.
