Skyliner Cell Signal

Planning on hitting DHS for ETPE on Monday. Early entry starts at 8:00am that day. I am thinking I need to be in line by 7:00 for Skyliner from Riviera. If I'm buying Genie + and ILLs at 6:59 does anyone know how the cell signal is waiting in line for the Skyliner? Has anyone had experience with this? Want to get to DHS in time but don't want to mess up my selections for Genie +.

It shouldn't be a problem. That area is well covered with cell towers.

I agree with your sentiment, but the reality is what will be is zero rides if you mess genie up.

If you're waiting in line you can walk a few feet and try to get better reception. If you're on the skyliner not as much.

Good point. But the Skyliner has good access to multiple cell towers so it shouldn't be a problem.

On second thought make sure you turn off wifi. Your phone might try to connect with a weak Disney wifi node instead of using cell data

I had no problems with my Verizon phone anywhere on WDW property anytime I've been there in the last few years. Including on the Skyliner from POP to either EPCOT or DHS.

A once and a lifetime Disney vacation doesn't scream relax. If I wanted to relax I would go to the beach!

I'd like to agree with that sentiment, I like it so much that I haven't been back to Disney because I do want to relax and not play all the games they are forcing guests to play right now. Planning my day at 7AM isn't for me so I guess Disney isn't for me either.

I am using Boost. Never had a signal problem is the areas around the Skyliner.
