Can you watch/ see the Mickey Mix Magic and fireworks from the Skyline Terrace?

Yes and no. You certainly can watch the show from there. And you can probably see a so so view of the fireworks -- Skyline Terrace never has a great view of the fireworks -- but you won't see any of the projections on the castle (because you can't see the castle from there) or on Main Street (can't see that from there either). MMM is a projections heavy show (in fact, the fireworks aren't even shown every night -- check the entertainment schedule to see if it says "MMM with fireworks" or "MMM"), so you want to view somewhere where you have a clear view of the projections. Right now, Main Street and IASW are winning the polls for best viewing areas.
For the same mediocre/poor view of the fireworks without the Skyline Terrace price tag, watch from the tables at Galactic Grill. Only difference is you'll be on the ground floor vs. on a higher level. And you can have a meal while watching.

You can see some of the fireworks & none of the projections. MMM is like 80% projections & 20% fireworks (if you are seeing it on a day that it has the fireworks). If you do on a non firework show day or it ends up being one of the many days wind cancels the fireworks then you get no show, no refund. Disney fine print says you are paying all that money to sit on a plastic couch & play Jenga & Connect 4 while eating subpar desserts regardless of if a show happens. Many forum members have gone & had a good time but personally I could think of so many ways I would rather use that money to plus out a different part of my trip.

I agree with the previous posters, the answer is sort of. We just did the skyline terrace this past Friday night and we had mixed reviews among our party of 6. My partner and I absolutely loved it. Having a place to sit and people watch and chill out after a full day in the park was awesome. Seeing the fireworks from a comfy couch without a mad crowd of wall to wall people was the best. But we couldn't see the projections from the show, and that was ok with us. Not sure if it's because we were seated and could watch in peace, but we thought they were the best fireworks show we've seen at DL.

Our late teen/early 20s kids were bored to tears and sitting around for 2 hours was not what they wanted to do. They liked the view of the fireworks once those started though.

I think us adults will do it again, but probably won't pay for our grown children again. We did drink our weight in coffee/hot chocolate/sodas and water, so it felt like a good splurge for us.
