Skylanders Swap Force - Good deals?

Hi all - Looking to get the starter set for Wii and maybe some extra figures for my son't birthday. I'm hoping you guys can direct me to a good deal.

I don't know of any sales going on right now; you might try using Google to see if you can find some.

I've played this a lot with my grandson and you will need not only the starter set, but at least one Skylanders Giant figure for a number of tasks in the game. You also need an assortment of the swappable Swap Force figures (the ones which can break into two pieces and the tops and bottoms can be switched; they are more expensive than the regular figures). Each of these figures has a distinct way of moving, indicated by a symbol on the base (spin, rocket, bounce, etc.). You will need these to access certain areas in every level. You can play without them, but you can't access all level areas.

Not sure when you need it by, but rumor has it that Target will have the Swapforce and Disney Infinity starter sets for $39.99 and B2G1 free on characters 4/6/2014-4/12/2014.

They have skylander toys at mcDonalds(happy meals) and inside the happy meal is a $10 coupon towards Swap force. My son wants that so I guess you can use it at walmart or target.

I saw the Swapforce and Giants starter sets on clearance at my Target this morning, you may want to check there. A starter set is all you need to get started. My son did fine with just that until he got more figures.
