Thank you I just hate the new site. Getawayweek.com was so easy to use. The new just gives me a big headache.

rci isn't showing anything for anywhere for me.. and getaway is
Has anyone actually used the certificates and completed their stay when they did this before? I'm just REALLY nervous about trying it out, but it would save us SO much money!
I tried the getawayweeks and they wont let me go back June 30 or July 1 09? Do I have to wait for a few more weeks to find the end of July?![]()
yes and no. You have to search for the time frame that you want. You can check on rciredemption.com which is the site that SkyAuction reccomends or Getawayweeks.com You can search now before even purchasing. Thing is with them, inventory changes all the time, what is there now, may not be there later...and visa versa. Also, closer to your dates sometimes you get a better selection, but not always, it depends on the season. On the website do they have a list of the properties that are involved?
This summer is the first I have had a major problem getting exactly what I wanted during peak season. I have been doing SkyAuction for years. It seems there is less inventory this year than previous years. Either more people are using their weeks or more people are purchasing SkyAuction and using those weeks
either way, I had a tuff time getting something for the week I wanted. I am now looking for something for July 26/27th week... my older DD wants to be in Orlando for the Tamp Bay Buc's training camp
I will do Universal while she watches the Buc's
TIAWe have to travel, when school is out. I checked a few locations we're interested in for school holidays, & June/ July 2009 & those dates are either not applicable or nothing comes up. I'm afraid to purchase a certificate in case we can't use it. What do you think? Should we purchase one & take our chances? Obviously, I've never used Skyauction before.TIA
I would buy one and take my chances.. you will get something, maybe not exactly the unit you wanted or the exact place you wanted but you will get something...I too have to travel when school is out & have them. I have done it. This year is the first year that I did not get exactly what I wanted, but I still got something. If you look thru this thread, you will see me talking about this exact thingI would buy one and take my chances.. you will get something, maybe not exactly the unit you wanted or the exact place you wanted but you will get something...
In fact, I still have 2 unused certificates from when they had their December Blow out sale & I am debating on purchasing 2 more ...
We don't really have a destination in mind. We'll probably want something on the east coast or south, but not Orlando. Do you have any experience with which destinations are usually easier to get?I am so close to pulling the trigger and buying two of these, as I'm pretty flexible with our dates for this fall (and it shows availibility). I've never stayed off-property, and I'm nervous! But it's so so CHEAP! What to do, what to do....
Thanks for the encouragement. We don't really have a destination in mind. We'll probably want something on the east coast or south, but not Orlando. Do you have any experience with which destinations are usually easier to get?
