How do I find that offer once I go to Skyauction's site? Is it the Home and Away special that I'm seeing? Except those are showing a fee of $289 + $20.but it is not $199 - it is now $259.99 + $20 fee - per reservation = the reservation are for 7 days and include 1-bedroom - sometimes to get a 2-bedroom you are charge more.
We've used them several times in the past too. Everybody talks about the vacation rentals like Windsor Hills and such but this is an often overlooked option that's even more affordable than the cheaper rentals which tend to run $80 or so per night. They do have this offer often. We have used them twice. I like that you can check the availability for lots of places ahead.

ETA: I found it. It's under Hot Deals. About to book our November stay! Thanks Pat!
ETA: Booked a 7-night stay at Orbit One for $279. There is a $5/day resort fee so the grand total is $314 or $44.86/night. Gotta love it.

When I booked yesterday, the deal I took said that the offer ended August 16, which was yesterday, so it's possible that the promo ended. Keep checking back, though, because they run those deals often.I sure seem to struggle with the Skyauction site. I never seem to be able to find the deals people are talking about. When I go under Hot Deals, it brings up 2 places in Florida, Star Island and Legacy Vacation Club then when I click on both of those, it says that unfortunately the offer has ended on January 2, 2015. I must be missing something everyone else sees!!
Let me give you step by step to buy a certificate. Go to skyauction, under the name skyauction there is a heading called destinations. Pick destinations. Click on USA/Canada. Scroll down until you see Eastern USA, click on that. Go to the very ending of the listings (page 13, is you haven't condensed the view). The last item is where you can buy the vacation certificates. Just because they are listed with Eastern USA, they can be used at any of the timeshares that come up in your search. Click on the certificate and it will have a site to let you check out what's available. Be sure to read everything on the timeshare you pick. Some have resort fees, some have an upcharge for certain weeks.I'm still not getting it. I've clicked on a bunch under hot deals..nothing available. Hmmmm, can anyone dumb it down for me, please.

I've done it too. As I said, I bought one yesterday and booked a week at Orbit One for November. We've stayed there 3 or 4 times before. It's not the newest or fanciest place around but we love the location. That's what sells it for us, along with the $45/night price of course.Have you used this? Any catch? Or downside?
I am having the same problemI'm still not getting it. I've clicked on a bunch under hot deals..nothing available. Hmmmm, can anyone dumb it down for me, please.
