wow, this is the first time i heard about this. Can someone explain how and what this is about ?

thanks

You bid for vacation time. It can be by the week or day. It may even inclued air fare. You just have to read the auction details. Last year I saw some people get some super deals on sky auction this year there are some there but you have to watch for them. After you win the auction you must pay the price of your bid plus the fees. For a week's stay that is $195, plus a $20 processing fee. I won a week for $265. The resort we have is not the closest to the parks but it is a two bed room condo in Orlando Memorial week. So I'm happy. I sugget you spend some time watching the site and read everything you can about Sky auction.

hey you also live close enough to take full advantage of skyauction.... I live in Ala.

at times skyauction will have sometimes only one sometimes a few timeshares for last minute sale. these are great - because generally there are not very many last-minute bidders.... (most people need plane tickets to get to WDW)

so you can actually get a 1 or 2 bedroom for $216 = $195 +$20 (fee) + $1 (your bid)....

also they have the getaweeks - this is your bid only - but be carefully. these things will quit.... I got one last year in Oct and it was just last week before I could finally use it.... of course you probably don't have my problem it had to be CWR because of Spicey....

some people also like the ready set go - but before you bid on anything set a limit on your bid....

like if you don't want to bid more than $75 - $195 +$20 +$75 = $290 for your final payment - then don't.....

there will be another one....

that is what is so great about being driving distance to WDW - there will be another one....

for a while earlier this year - there were only a few timeshares on skyauction - they were being sued for renting. but since they are back and back big time (at least a couple of days ago they were). they must have settled the case.

oh try to do this now - timeshares owners are contacting their resorts to make them aware that this is what RCI is going with their excess inventory....
when the resort make a bulk deposit.... and trying to encourage them to rent their places themselves....

so these deals won't last forever...

just glad they are back.... :woohoo:

thank everyone i will check it out, i kinda thought it was another but different type of ebay

well they are both auction sites....

but skyauction has a relationship with RCI.

ebay gets their inventory from their members/clients.
