We're there 16/5-21/5 so really hoping for a soft opening shot. We were there July 14 and managed to go on the hogwarts express as a soft opening! So there's always hope!

We'll be there from 28th for a week. What's the best way to find out if any soft openings, we have AP if that helps?

When DD was 6 we managed to get invited into fantasyland preview twice at MK. First time DD was dressed as tinkerbell and second time all glittered up from Bibbidi dressed as rapunzel. Don't think that will work for Kong

Has there been any leaks as to what type of format the ride will be? I was really hoping for a FJ type of format, with a mix of screens, but also plenty of dark ride elements.

There are POV videos already?!? Where have I been? I have seen the pictures of the ride vehicles, and seen teaser clips, but not sure what the ride is really like (just all screens like Hollywood?) on the inside.

There are only videos of the short outside part of the ride.

Sounds like the inside will be a mix of large scenes, animatronics and screens.

yay!! Thanks! That would be great, with a mix of large scenes and animatronics. I just came from DL and loved the Indiana Jones ride, and wonder if part of it will be like that ride. That would be great. I know US won't let us down!

Indiana Jones is my favourite theme park ride. It would be great if Kong could be in the same league.

First roller coaster I ever went on was Indiana Jones.......but it was in Disneyland Paris......year it opened way back in 1992.

Scared the living day lights out of me..........first time I ever went upside down........now I love it, didn't back then.......... I get embarrassed thinking about how scared I was on it.......
