Hi Amy just wanted to pop in and tell you first of all Happy Anniversary!

I am sooo jealous of your 8 1/2 hour drive. We live in East Texas and decided to drive it this last May and it took us 17hrs !

Also yay for Disney shopping...its my favorite! I like Lexi's stuffed animal collection she has going, my daughter Sydney is the same way with animals lol! She decided on baby dumbo this last time and he is soo cute!
Have you ever thought about making a photo book with shutterfly for your Disney trips? I have done this for our last two instead of buying a photo album and it actually ended up costing about the same amount if not less (shutterfly sometimes has discounts on these).

Anyways love update and cannot wait to hear more about the trip plans!

17 hours is a LONG time in a car, I wouldn't want to do that.
Growing up my family would drive to Dallas to visit relatives. It seemed like driving through Louisiana took forever!

I need to check the prices on Shutterfly to see what would be the cheapest route for me. I take tons of pictures & I filled up 3 albums last trip!

I have a ton of developed pics waiting for me to put in albums right now & more on SD cards.
So, I'm thinking the shutterfly books would be easier too.

Wow, 18 years! Happy Anniversary!

I know it's not the same as ON the antenna but my friend needles a string through her mickey heads and hangs them from the rearview mirror. DH won't allow me to have mickey heads on our cars We do have a mickey cling on though so I can't be too sad!

Three more days until we leave for Disney!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited because we leave Friday and I’m so stressed because there is so much I need to get done and I do not have much spare time between work and ball games.

This weekend, I finally picked out mine & Lexi’s clothes we will wear.
Lexi doesn’t have enough shorts for the week and I’ve been searching everywhere since last week. All stores have clearanced out their summer clothes & we’ve only been able to find one pair in her size.
So, one day she is going to have to wear a pair of white shorts that she already has.
Hopefully, they will not get extremely dirty & nasty looking!

I have not decided on which outfits for us to wear on each day. I hope to decide that today.
Levi & Brad’s clothes will take no time to pick out.
In our past trips, we always wore Disney attire & I would make us matching shirts.
Lexi is sad that we are not doing that this year. I liked it in photos, but they never wear their Disney shirts at home. It’s too much trouble and/or waste if they are not going to wear them more than one time.
So, no Disney shirts this year




Our Day 1 Plans ~ Saturday ~ 9/22

We will get up early & check-out of our hotel outside of Disney, drive into WDW and check into Pop!

Lexi and Levi are so excited. They have been searching the internet looking at the pictures of Pop resort and watching YouTube videos of all of the rides.

When I made the reservation I requested a 1st floor room in the 50’s or 60’s section.
I have not sent in a fax and I’m not sure if I will or not.

After we check-in, our 1st park we visit will be Epcot!
We will start off at ‘Soar’n.’ We missed ‘Living with Land’ last time, so we will make sure we do that next.
I want to have our pictures made at the Character Spot, we will do that today or another Epcot park day.
We will do as much as we can in Epcot until our room is ready.

Once our room is ready, we go back to Pop and unpack.
After we are unpacked and I have decorated our window , we will go to MK for the rest of the day!

I did not make any TS reservations for our 1st day . We will eat Counter Service meals somewhere at Epcot and/or MK.

Magic Kingdom-

We have never seen Monster’s Inc, so I want to make sure we don’t miss it. I’ve heard it’s cute.
I LOVE eating at Pinocchio Village Haus and sitting at the ‘It’s a Small World’ viewing table. We will probably stalk one of those tables on this day.

I still have not made up my mind if I want to see the Electrical Parade & Wishes on this night or not.
We will either watch it tonight, 9/22 or Thurday, 9/27. I’m not sure which will be the most crowded.
Is there anyone out there that subscribes to Tourguide Mike that can tell me the difference between MK crowds those nights?

Brad is not into waiting around for fireworks or parades. When I told him I didn’t know which night to watch the parade & fireworks. He said to me, “But, we’ve already seen it”. He was serious, he doesn’t understand why I would want to see it again! But, he will, with a happy face!
