Hi I was just back on the DIS planning our summer trip and came across your PTR. I remember reading your previous TR. It's always nice to share experiences with a fellow South Carolinian Can't wait to read more. Oh, and I'm a teacher, so I'll pretend I didn't read the whole "skipping school" thing (Just kidding, totally jealous!!)

I just spent an hour reading up on your 2010 trip! AWESOME trip reports, it's the favorite one I read on this whole board! We are leaving in 15 days, I am sooo excited! Have you always mapped our the parks before you go? This is the first time we are going with my kids ( 3&5 ) and we were just going to "wing" it but, I wonder if I should have a better idea of which park to visit each day.

Also - What store did you find those disney cookies at? I need those for my trip

I bet you are excited, you do not have long left at all!
I would definitely try to come up with a plan on which park you would want to visit each day.
I'm not sure about this time of year, but when we go in Sept, they do not have the Spectromagic parade or Fantasmic show every night.
So, you would want to make sure you will be at the park the night they have it.
We bought the cookies at Wal-Mart.
I was at Publix grocery store today and they had the Cars cookies, but not Minnie.
I hope you find some for your trip!!

So excited to see that you are planning another trip! I know it has been two years but wow Lexi and Levi look so grown up since your last TR. Your pictures of them, and as a family look amazing as always. We took our first family trip last month with lo and had a wonderful time. I really look forward to following along and reading all about your plans. Those cookies are really cute. I may have to find the Minnie ones and take them to Easter for my 3 year old niece who is in love with all things Minnie Mouse. Have fun at Lexi's pageant I am sure she will do great

Lexi was in her Middle School pageant last night.
She did really great. I have never seen so many gorgeous gowns before. One girl looked like a real life Cinderella!
Lexi had to interview with the judges in a room with just her & the judges.
She said they asked a ton of questions. One of the questions they asked her was about her having a twin brother.
She said, "Yes, I have a twin brother named Levi. If you switch around the letters of his name, it spells Evil and that's what he is"!!

Moms were not allowed to help backstage, and I think Lexi went a little crazy with the hot pink lipgloss , but I promise it did not look that bright sitting out in the audience as it does in some of the pictures up close.

On our way home. She said her face is still hurting today from smiling so much yesterday.

Lexi is still on and she had to take her crown to church this morning!


Now, I can start trying to narrow down the list of restaurants that we want to go to in WDW.

Ha! Ha! We tried to tell everyone stage makeup is heavier than normal makeup wear - if she didn't have this much on, the lights would make her look like she didn't have any on.

Lexi is a beautiful young lady - as anyone looking at these photos can see. What you don't see is how much of a beautiful, caring person she is on the inside! Her parents have raised her right!

Thank you! The dress was so pretty! That was the main reason that she wanted to be in her middle school pageant was so that she could wear one of those dresses

I can't believe how much Lexi and Levi have grown since your last report! They are definitely beautiful children and I know you are so proud of them!

As I was reading about the pageant and scrolling down through the pictures, I was thinking, "How could she not win", and then I saw that she did! Glad to know the judges were in there right mind. I absolutely love the comment about Levi during the interview...that's too funny! Her gown was absolutely GORGEOUS! Congrats to her!!
