Hi I'm Amy!

This will be my 2nd PTR report and I have one TR from our last WDW trip.

I just booked our WDW trip last week, so I will be living on the Disboards again!
It's a good thing because I can catch up with old Dis friends and hopefully make new ones! I also LOVE reading all the tips on the Dis to help make our trip more special & magical!
It's also a bad thing because, well, I will be living on the Dis researching and not getting anything done around the house!


I look forward to hearing from you and any tips you have throughout my PTR!

Who is going on this trip:

My husband Brad & I will be going.

I just turned 42 this week and Brad just turned the big 4-0 this past year!
We will celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary during the month of our trip ♥
Brad is a wonderful husband & dad. He still stays busy w/kids & coaching some of the sports that our kids play. Baseball is starting and he will be coaching my DS team.
I work part-time as an instructor at a community college. My hobbies revolve around the kids. I volunteer at school & church, I'm the taxi-driver, tutor for HW & test, etc...
Most of the time, I love being a mom more than anything else!
I love the Disboards and all of the information that you can find on here.
I would never plan a WDW trip w/out it! Everytime I know someone that is going to WDW, I think I get more excited than they are. I start telling them things and they ask me "how do you know that?" in amazement thinking I'm so smart. Then, I'm always having to say "I read it on www.Disboards.com". I explain what disboards are to them. Some are excited & start researching on here too and others look at me like I'm weird or something!

If you have read my TR before, you know that I have twins, Lexi & Levi. They are 11 and will be 12 in a couple of months.

L&L started Middle School this year and are in the 6th grade.
This has been the biggest change. Their personalities are changing and they're growing up so fast, it's hard for Brad & I to keep up emotionally with the adjustments. I don't even want to think about what High School will be like!


Lexi is very involved playing volleyball and she is in Student Council and Beta Club at school. She is very outgoing & silly. Lexi loves the Disney tween shows. She is at the age where she is changing so fast & she has her emotional waves. Before middle school, she never spoke to boys except her brother. They had a cell phone for emergencies & no one ever called or texted. This year, her phone is inundated with boys texting & calling. Boys & girls are "going together" in her grade and boys keep asking Lexi to "date them". But, we do not allow her have a boyfriend yet. She's fine with that this year, but Lord please pray for us in this transition. She's still 5 yrs old in my eyes!

Levi is very laid back and always in a good mood. I have never seen Levi mad, not even once. He is in the Beta Club at school and likes being involved with sports. He loves reading, plays football, basketball & baseball. Levi stays very active and does not watch much t.v. except for Sports Channels. He is the typical boy and I would not know much of anything that goes on with him at school if he did not have a sister to tell me.

Now I remember why it is so hard for me to do a trip report. It has taken me so long this morning to download pictures to Photobucket. Resize them and and then save as a copy before I can post them.
Does anyone post pictures a different way that is easier?

Hi Amy! How fun you get to go back! I followed your last TR.
We are going back this September too!

As for photobucket, in the settings there is a way to download all your pics to whichever size you normally use. That way they will all be small, or medium and you don't have to go back in each one and resize it.

Look at these Pillsbury cookies that Brad bought at the store this week! So cool!

They are the Easter cookies!
We went back, bought several more & put those in the freezer.
Guess what will be one of our snacks on the way down to Disney?



Lexi will be in her Middle School's pageant tomorrow night.
She is excited and I'm starting to get nervous.
She'll have to be at the school by 3:00 to start interviews and the pageant starts at 7:00. I'm rolling her hair and I'm nervous worrying about it staying curled! It's raining here today & I'm praying for no rain tomorrow, just sunshine!!!
Once the pageant is out of the way, I'll need to start trying to decide on which restaurants we want to eat at in WDW.

I just spent an hour reading up on your 2010 trip! AWESOME trip reports, it's the favorite one I read on this whole board! We are leaving in 15 days, I am sooo excited! Have you always mapped our the parks before you go? This is the first time we are going with my kids ( 3&5 ) and we were just going to "wing" it but, I wonder if I should have a better idea of which park to visit each day.

Also - What store did you find those disney cookies at? I need those for my trip

So excited to see that you are planning another trip! I know it has been two years but wow Lexi and Levi look so grown up since your last TR. Your pictures of them, and as a family look amazing as always. We took our first family trip last month with lo and had a wonderful time. I really look forward to following along and reading all about your plans. Those cookies are really cute. I may have to find the Minnie ones and take them to Easter for my 3 year old niece who is in love with all things Minnie Mouse. Have fun at Lexi's pageant I am sure she will do great
