I have made a few purchases for my trip.

I bought this Mickey Mouse bag, it looked so cute to take to WDW!

Vera Bradley sent me a $20 gift card in the mail for my birthday.
I was going to just buy a small hipster for Lexi with the gift card.
But, Lexi wanted a duffel bag for sleepovers because she said, "All her friends have one". Sure they do...<insert sarcasm>
I wanted one too, so that gave me an excuse to buy it. Then, I thought I better get a tote bag to match it before the pattern is gone.
I thought the $20 gift card was a good deal, then I realize it is just to sucker you in like it did me!

Lexi has already been able to use it for a sleepover.

I'm totally addicted to Baggallini bags and that's what I use all of the time.
I just purchased this Black Urban backpack. I wish I had one in every color that it comes in.

I have this green one that I used on my last WDW trip & I'll take it again.

I'm going on a girls weekend away with my mom and sisters tomorrow to Pigeon Forge. There is a Disney outlet there, so I hope to get something cute for the kids.


Next week, I hope to start making my 2012 itty-bitty itinerary book

I think I might have all beat with the $20 gift card. I already have close 20 bags of VB but went in March with my gift card and ended up with a Weekender bag, a purse, one wallet, one change purse, hanging cosmetic bag which I'm using for jewelry, and two new make-up bags since they were BOGO lol. Nearly $200 later and I left the VB outlet in Lake Buena Vista lol. I"m glad I was able to use the gift card though!

I have the large and small duffel bags and I love them!!! A lot of the teachers at my school are doing those "thirty-one" parties and I bought one bag which didn't hold up at all so I'd rather pay a tad more with VB and know I'm getting good quality bags that can be washed and dried!!!

hi Amy! So glad to see you are doing another PTR! And happy to see other familiar faces as well (hi Ann!). The funny thing is...I had priced out a free dining trip for Sept. as well, and I really want to go. Initially it was for over labor day weekend, but that weekend is my sister's due date (she's pregnant with her first, a baby girl and the first grandchild for my parents) so didn't want to potentially miss my neice being born! So we're maybe thinking of moving it to the end of Sept. Hopefully our days will overlap as it'll be great to meet up! It sounds as if I'm coming in late to the game though, and all the good ADRs will be gone by the time I get around to booking. Just wish I can confirm my dates a bit more. Plus I really wanted to stay at POFQ too! But I was reading about the new refurbished rooms at Riverside - the ones with the Royal theme and I thought that would be cool to see as well.

So happy for Lexi! she totally deserved that crown! I saw your pics on FB and thought she was the prettiest contestent, so there was no doubt in my mind she would have won.

Amy is going and staying at POFQ and remember tankgirl? She and I are going about a week after Amy and also staying at POFQ. For Betsy (tankgirl) and I, your report when your sisters and you stayed there helped us to NEED to stay at POFQ. If you remember Joyce.. she too is going around our dates...although I think the week after Betsy and I. I am not sure how much reading you have been keeping up on.. I know you had mentioned you were reading, just not typing because of your hand (yes?) Anyway... I vote you go!

I'm curious about the itinerary book. This sounds like something the planner in me might enjoy putting together. Anything to keep my mind occupied from now until July!

VB Marketing is very smart! I wanted the make up case too! Part of me wants to still order it & the Dave Ramsey side of me says not to. I'll see which one wins!

We got (well in all honesty, Judy got) a Vera Bradley duffel and some other items for Lauren recently. She was veeery happy with them.

Sooo, just checked for the free dining dates - and POFQ is completely sold out!! Axctually all Mods are sold out except for CBR. Booo. so it's between that and the AoA, which I'd totally do, except that I'd have to get a suite. I heard the Little Mermaid standard rooms are not included in the free dining, only suites. A suite is great with a lot of people but just me and DH is kinda pricey. I mean, we don't NEED the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen, but it just sounds too cool!

Did you get the bag at Walmart? I know that sounds odd... but that is where I saw a bag just like yours. They had a minnie one that looked just like it... but red and it had a white bow on it too.

What are your dates? I know I am super ocd... but I found availability for 9/18 to 9/25 at POFQ. I think since AoA just opened up for fd... people will be shifting their reservations and more will open at POFQ. I would say keep trying!

I actually have a Totes bag that looks very similar to your Baggallini (except that it was only $8 at the Totes outlet ) I absolutely love it! It's waterproof, thin straps, a nice triangular-ish shape, and it has lots of pockets. Out of 7-8 Disney bags I've had, it is hands down the best!

Was your first bag with the Mickey heads from the Disney Store? Very cute!!

I can't believe everything is sold out!!! You right about not needing a suite for just 2 people. Maybe they will open up more rooms for free dining. I didn't think CBR was bad, but then I don't have much to compare it with since I've only been to WDW twice. I'll see after this trip how I like POFQ compared to CBR.

I did find it at Wal-Mart. And, after thinking about it, there was a minnie one, but I liked the black & white colors best.

LOVE all of the bags! As you know from my PTR's, I adore Vera Bradley. I have the large duffel that I used as my hospital bag when I had Cole. Madison and I also use it when we go on overnights for Irish dancing. Almost all of my dance students have the small duffel that they use as their dance bags.

I have the VB baby bag and I'm not a huge fan of it. It feels more like a duffel bag, so I bought the pleated tote and it's much better. I get so many compliments on it!

Loved readinG your PTR. We are in the final stages of the countdown to our trip. I just couldn't resist reading a PTR from a fellow SC person (hehehe).

We saw the Mickey bag in Wal-mart too and we picked it up along with some inexpensive character shirts.

Have fun in September and I'll be sure to follow your progress as you get closer. POFQ is a place I definitely want to stay in the future!
