Skipping a day at parks affect your FP+ options?

This may be a very simply answer but we have never taken an "off day" from the parks, but may this year. We were going to go to Legoland for a half day at my son's request and I had originally planned to finish the day at MK. But now we are considering using a park day on departure day because we switched to a later flight (6pm), figuring we can go to a park until around 1 or so. So after legoland we were considering simply taking a carriage ride at Port Orleans then going to DTD.

We have a 10 day stay with 9 day tickets if I skip FP+ options on day 4 (legoland) we could simply utilize the rest of the days from there without any issue I am assuming?

Yes, you can schedule FPs for whichever 9 days you choose to enter parks.
