Skipping 2020?

We are skipping 2020 in favor of 2021. I know its the anniversary year but the girls actually want to go during the anniversary year and we are hoping that any bug and glitches at Galaxy's Edge. Plus the 10 year old is hoping for more light saber designs by then.

We just returned and i always say "I think we will skip next year." on the ride home..... But a few months later, i get the urge and plan a trip.
Yep, same here! After our April trip this year we decided to take a year off in 2020 and do a cruise instead. Then 2 weeks later I decided to book a girls trip in October with a few friends. :crazy2: However, our next big family trip will probably be in 2021 or 2022. I too would like to wait for a few new things to open before going back.

I do not go every year anymore. I go when desire and funds allow! That means a hopeful trip in 2020 w/ family/grandson before he starts kindergarten and again in 2021 w/ my sister for the 50th, because there is nothing else more I'd love to do than celebrate WDW's 50th anniversary!

We are with you on the skipping 2020. We have a 14 day trip coming up in August, and my wife and I have already discussed doing something different next year. (maybe a cruise). We have been down 15 or so times in the past 12 years, and frankly, while we LOVE WDW, we are thinking between construction, cost and crowds, next year may be the year to skip. (Been talking about it for a while now).
