I disagree with this part of your comment. The interior was a good blend of homage to the Jungle Cruise and Adventureland as a whole. I think Imagineering did a good job on making this out to be the headquarters of the Jungle Cruise Ltd., complete with a mess-hall like environment as well as more intimate spots that the bigwigs would use.
Again, the food was not great, very salty and it took forever (25+ minutes) to get two of the "easiest" dishes out (pho and mac n cheese). Those are the reasons I won't recommend it. I do think they should've let alcohol be served but it doesn't detract for me the way the experiece with the food and service did.
I'll amend my comment. WDW was asleep at the wheel on this one. The interior was lovely, but it was not followed through with the quality of food or even the delivery of jokes (if you could even call them that) by the servers. It needs to come together as a whole or it's not going to work. So, yes, those that designed the interior did a lovely job, the rest . . . . not so much! And, honestly, after they showed us what they could do with BOG, this was a serious let-down.
