Skipper Canteen for picky eaters?

I would love to try Skipper Canteen on our next trip. I didn't book it this time because I have an extremely picky 6-year-old. Does anyone know if they will make chicken nuggets if we ask for them? I asked at Liberty Tree and they brought a giant plate along with fries because she wouldn't eat anything that they brought for dinner. I think I may book it either way, because there is no pleasing her anyway!! I hope she outgrows this soon!!!

I would be willing to bet the Chef's Crispy Chicken on the kid's menu is chicken nuggets. There's also a mac n cheese. If neither of those work, I'd follow auroraborealis' advice and feed her before you go and then just get her dessert or a drink.

There is a chicken noodle soup crock on the kid menu. Seems pretty tame.

I feel your pain Amy, my daughter got extremely picky around that age, very hard to please, even if she would order something familiar at a restaurant she would say "it doesn't taste like it does at home". It's very frustrating but it does get easier.
I would say any restaurant at Disney is used to accommodating young children/picky eaters. Have fun, try not to get too stressed over it.

If they don't have it in the kitchen they won't make it. My guess is the nuggets everywhere at WDW are frozen then fried.

I agree with you, but I have a picky one that won't touch soup of any kind. He likes noodles. He likes chicken. Put them together in a soup, and no way!

Good point. Has anyone ever ordered the Chef's crispy chicken? Is it similar to chicken fingers or nuggets. We would be safe with that dish.
