Skipped Attractions

Funny that France should show up here. The past 3 trips(all since the conflict) my 11 yr old, with no prior political convictions, would not only NOT go to this land BUT turned her head sideways when we walked past. This is somewhat funny because we were staying in the Epcot resort area and used the International gateway often making for some interesting sideways walking by her on MANY days!!!

My "to skip" attractions are the most popular listed above...HP, Snow White, Dumbo,Speedway@MK...Licing seas, movies in each land @Epcot...Raffiki train@AK...Sounds Dangerous@MGM.
While we will not visit these on most future trips I do not regret experiencing them at least once!

OK, please don't flame me, we're all entitled to our opinions -- but 2 rides i would skip would be POC and HM! THe whole YohoYoho ride with its outdated mechanical pirates in a musty boat did nothing for me. And as for HM, what is with the starving, rib-showing dogs? I had a lot of fun joking with the sombre "greeter" at HM, but aside from that, it too left me, shall we say, "cold"? I know these are considered WDW icons, but they just have never done anything for me. And my kids haven't asked to go back on these either, which suits me fine (and just leaves more room for the rest of you!) I would LOVE to skip the speedway (one of the longest lines ever... for a putt-putt car ride in a circle sniffing exhaust.) However, THAT one my kids DO like, so I can't wipe it from the play books just yet. We avoid the HISTKplayground DESPITE the kids... just too dang hard to ever get them back; it's mass chaos in there. DH skips the panoramic 360 movies, yet rides all the thrill rides with great relish (go figure); I can watch the movies but anything as churny as Body Wars turns me green and sends me reeling. So we trade off on those; our kids can make their own choices at own risk with one parent or another!!

On the other hand... I love the Tiki room! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_129.gif' alt='Parrot 3' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_1_206.gif' alt='Love Song' border=0></a>
