This is going to be our first trip in 6 years and are spending one day at US. Everyone in our family is able to ride everything in the park, but I'm unsure if we will have time (will be there the last week of October). We are not staying on site (have off-site timeshare) and are unwilling to spend extra on the US equivalent of the fastpass. I have read such great things about the Mummy ride and since we often have AP's to Six Flags in Illinois and get the opportunity to ride great roller coasters, I'm thinking we should run to ride Mummy at RD and skip HRRR. Can some of you US experts help me with a suggested line-up of rides to miss the worst lines? What are the rides with the worst waits later in the day?:confused3

Get there at opening and you should be able to ride most things. HRRR has only had a line of about 15 minutes that early in the day.

Rides to get to early are Mummy, HRRR and Simpsons at USF and Hulk, DD, and Spiderman at IOA.

Deffinatly ride HRR first thing then bolt over to Mummy the lines wont be as bad if you get there at opening like damo said..
These are 2 of the best coasters in Orlando!!Try and get the back seats on both-great airtime..
IMO

We were there this past Thursday and we went straight to rrr and the wait was 45 mins.so we waited got half way through and it broke with people on it.They were half way up the climp part at the beginning. We went later on in the day and it was a 75 min. wait,we rode it.Did not like it.It knocked your head around real bad.Our favorite ride is the Mummy!!!!!!!

The front or the back are the smoothest on HRRR,anywhere in between is as rough as the Hulk.
The Mummy I always ride the back. Its my fav also.
Here is the key,if you dont mind bieng split up,use the single riders line!!

Thanks for all the help! Is the Mummy a fairly fast moving line? If we do RRR (I will let my family decide) we would definitely go to the Mummy 1st or 2nd. Then Simpsons? Any other recommendations for what next?

If the line for HRRR is under half an hour, do it, otherwise skip it. Check the single rider's line too.

After Simpsons, head over to IOA and do the main rides there. Then you can take your time with the other rides.

Mom was in the back, well both of us were.(Used single riders and got lucky)She said it was a rough ride and hated it. Tried later in vacation and said she still didn't like it much. I thought it was ok didn't notice any rockyness but ya she was in back so idk.

Also I don't think it was opened at park opening the the first week of Oct. Idk if that will change as time goes on but it wasn't open during park opening. We tried a cpl times to ride but it also broke down while we were in line so came back later and waited about 15 mins in single.

The Mummy is better coaster imo but HRRR is cool and imo you shouldn't leave w/o riding.

Roughness seems to be the luck of the draw. Our roughest ride was front row. It all depends on what vehicle you get. There seem to be two rough ones.

if you plan on doing the mummy at rope drop, make sure it will be open at 9

call guest services a few days in advance and ask which rides are open at 9 and which open at 10 to be on the safe side.

i know the simpsons open at 9.

last week, some rides had staggered start times when i was there.

If you don't mind getting your part split up (or don't care which row), you can do single riders on mummy, very rarely a long line. Then you could just go to HRRR first, then just hit that.

this is great advice!

you can talk to your friend while you are in the single's line up to the point you are assigned a seat for the mummy. (or in any other single line ride)

there is very little talking you can do while on this ride to the people next to you. about the only thing you can do if you are sitting next to a friend is scream together........

it is fast and loud. it would be difficult to carry on any conversation with peeps next to you on this ride.
