Okay... I just heard that in big city highschools, girls wearing bootcut are getting made fun of and that in London, all you see are skinny jeans.

Will you jump on the skinny jeans bandwagon?

Funny you should mention this. I just bought 2 pairs over the weekend :lmao:

Hay-Ell no. A, I'm not skinny. I'm not even thin. B, my thighs are slightly larger than my hips, so I don't think they make "skinny" jeans for the likes of me. And C, I look skinnier in bootcut.

Never ever ever. I'll stick to my bootcut jeans for now, thanks. I suppose until the maternity jeans start..... :)

There is nothing "skinny" about my wardrobe....(I'ma proud size 14)

Seriously though, I think they look heinous. I cannot stand the way models and celebrities dress. NO REAL person dresses like that. Like Ugg boots in summer with a mini-skirt. Just silly.

Wonder what they're going to say on What Not to Wear, since they claim bootlegs make your butt look smaller? "You must add some skinny jeans to your wardrobe. Now don't worry, the focus will be on your legs and no one will even notice that big old butt."

Only if they make them in mens sizes, because I only wear mens jeans.

Nope, you won't see the likes of me in these jeans. They were a mistake for the majority of the women who wore them. Very few look good in them IMO. You have to be cut closer to a boy (no real hips or real curves) to pull them off. Otherwise you look like a stuffed sausage.

I'll be in my bootcuts for a long time thankyouverymuch!!!!!!

Been there, done that. I'll pass on the fad this time. :rotfl:

I won't be wearing them. Skinny jeans would not do my figure any favors. Plus I have no interest in wearing stuff that was "cool" when I was 11.

That's better than the Ugg boots I saw paired with a bikini. Bless that girl's heart. . .

As to the skinny jeans. They're not my style.

I'm sure skinny jeans will look great...on my soon to be 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old nieces. :sad2:

Same here. My 17 year old DD said, just the other day, in Penney's "People who wear skinny jeans need an intervention." :rotfl2:

Stacey will say the same thing she said about granny boots I would imagine - Just because they're in style doesn't mean you should wear them ;)

Looks like I am the minority here :lmao: To each thier own :teeth:

Amen to that!!! :rotfl:

I have a theory that celebrities get together with sylists and come up with the most ridiculous fashions they can think of just to get an unknowing public to run right out and buy the latest thing that will make them look silly.

Uggs and skinny jeans prove my theory (because VERY few people can pull off the skinny jeans).

I'll stick with my "balance my butt" bootcuts.

Amen to that.

I don't care if you are seven feet tall and have legs that go up to your eyeballs, Uggs WILL make you look like you have short, fat Hobbit legs.

Well now, who makes these skinny jeans, are they pricey and do they have STRETCH in them....!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

I have a paid of Straight leg levi's on the ones with the low waist. That is as close as I will get (I do love this pair though)

Skinny-not so much-I actually have a waist and hips (not built like a boy AT ALL) so they would look so wrong on me-I would end up as a glamour don't with my eyes covered.
