Are these considered “wine”’or “spirits”? What about a bottle of sangria? Would they be confiscated on embarkation?

Thanks!
Denice T.

The Skinny Girl cocktails would be "spirits" because they contain vodka/ tequila and such and would not be allowed on. Mileage will vary with the bottled sangria depending on what's in it and which security person checks it.

When we sailed out of San Diego we purchased sangria flavored wine coolers in a 4 pack at the local CVS and bought it on the Wonder.

These lead to my question - 6 beer is ok to bring aboard - what about 6 coolers? I don’t like beer.

I think it's unfortunately one of those things that seems up to interpretation at the port. No one seems to get/give the same answer! I can tell you that we brought hard cider on board in Vancouver. We stayed there a few days before the cruise and hadn't finished some local hard cider we bought. We had one night post cruise in a hotel so if they held it to the end, I didn't care. But they really didn't seem to care or even look in Vancouver.

We are leaving out of PC. We get in the day before our cruise and will be picking up beverages to bring. Maybe I should just stick to wine then...
