Ski poles--at least I think that's what they are.

So glad I came to this forum.
I don't need an ECV, but arthritis in my hip, makes it difficult to walk 10 miles a day at Disney. I've tried a walking stick, but I find it really slows me down. It just isn't a good fit for me. I've seen people using what looks like ski poles for walking. I remember a few years ago walking in a wooded area with a friend and she pulled a long stick out of the woods for me, and that helped a lot.
Do you think they'd be allowed at Disney? I've never seen anyone using them there.
My next trip is solo, so I can take it as slow as I want, but I'm hoping to be there with my adult children I the next year or so.

I doubt anything with a sharp tip would be allowed. But I think what you want is what I've heard called a Nordic Walking Pole which has more a blunt tip. Google will show you.

Actually, you can buy tips for ski poles that interchange with the sharp tips and are like little rubber "feet". I don't know how to link things, but if you search through Amazon for rubber tips for hiking poles, hopefully you'll find them.
