How many beds are in a WLV studio? Does it have the refrigerator, etc? Our party will include 2 adults and 2 child and I might try to rent points if it's big enough. THanks!

One queensized bed, and one sleeper sofa - not sure if double or queen sized.

You will have a small refrigerator, a toaster and a coffee maker in the room as well. And a wet bar.

and the sleeper sofa is a double.

Here's the layout:

Two adults and two kids? Should be plenty big for that. :)

the sleeper sofa is a double (also called a full) - if you want more bed space - try OKW - 2 queen beds in their studio - the points needed are lower and so you save money.

OKW is not close to any park - so all transportation is by bus - there is a boat that goes to DD.

because both the beds are queens - you can't fold up the sleeper sofa in the morning for extra space which you can do at VWL.

I always thought the studios weren't that large, until we stayed in one after the Disney Wonder cruise. Compared to our cruise stateroom, the studio was HUGE! :)

We recently returned from a week in a studio at WLV with the same family unit as you, 2 adults and 2 children, ages 2 and 6. The room is plenty big enough, especially with the fold-away bed. It gives it a real comfortable feeling. We even had the crib up for the 2 year old and did not feel cramped. The small kitchen area was perfect for us for a quick breakfast before going to the parks and for snacks when we got back. All our dinners were out. You'll love the resort!!

We hope to stay in one of the studios at WL in March (not our home resort, so I have to wait for the 7 month window to reserve it).

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (twins who will be 10). We stayed at BCV this past March in a studio and it was fine. We did breakfast in the studio every morning and had pop and snacks in the fridge for evenings. When the sofa sleeper is out, it takes up a bit of room, but we put it back into a sofa each morning and it was quite comfortable!

So I would think the studios at WL would be similar. I think you will be fine. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway, we were out and about every day.

The studios at VWL are just a tad smaller that at BCV for some reason. Not just perception - actual size - at least in the bathroom. The BCV bathroom had about 2 additional feet between the toilet and the shower. The BCV tv was larger and the entertainment center had more space. There was also a difference in the cabinets of the sink and minikitchen areas, but I can't remember what it was exactly. We stayed 4 nights in a studio at each resort a few weeks ago.

I can't believe no one mentioned the microwave!

I think you will find that the studio is larger than most rooms in the WL lodge. It will absolutely feel larger if you fold up the sleeper sofa each morning.

Enjoy your trip
