For the two of us a studio. However, with DS's family always a two bedroom, and most likely 1-2 studios besides.

We have December VWL reservations for just DH and myself, and I truly wish it could have been for a 1 bedroom, but DDiL has already signed up for the 1/2 marathon, that's on a weekend, 2 weekend nights in 2 bedroom, plus whatever weekdays, just can't be avoided. So, here's a resolution for me for 2010...when DH and I go ourselves...we will book 1 bedrooms...we will book 1 bedrooms. :rotfl:

A Studio would work fine for us but starting two years ago we decided that we like the space in a one bedroom. We also decided to cook more often. Disney food is so expensive and the money that we save on food allows us to vacation more often.

hey I cook (or warm up) in the studio.

We like to invite guests, so usually do a 2 bedroom, but if it's just DH and me, we will do a 1 bedroom most of the time and occationally a studio for a weekend. In fact, we are doing a studio at CL in December because I had some points that needed to be used up, and I was able to get 3 nights in a studio CL.

Always a 1BR here. We're splurging next year, taking my mother's side of (divorced) family for her birthday. We're booking a GV for the five of us those two weeks and can't wait. Since there's just DH and myself at the moment (ok, plus dog) we can't see many GV stays in our immedite future...

We did purposely buy enough points for two weeks in a 1BR during the time when we are most likely to visit (late April/early May) so that is meant to be our accommodation unless our family situation changes.

When I bought DVC, my mom was alive and we always booked a 1 bedroom. It was the luxury I bought DVC for. Now that she's gone, I usually go with a studio to stretch my points but sometimes splurge for a 1 bedroom for a trip with friends. I have also traded out to Disneyland.

This was a hard one to answer. It really depends on who comes with us on vacation. Lately, it has mostly been studios, but I anticipate more 2 bedrooms in the future. :goodvibes

a 1-BR for the 2 of us. Need that king-sized bed, whirlpool tub, washer/dryer, and seperate living room.

It is just DH and Me. We always get a studio. I would love to book a one-bedroom at some point for the extra ammenities and more space, but with only 150 pts., I can't seem to justify the big increase in points it would cost us.

There are 4 of us, and we almost always get a 1-BR. On occassion, we will splurge and get a 2-BR. :cloud9:

Always a studio. We stay an entire month in a studio and do cook in it. With a studio, that is how we can stay an entire month plus 2 weeks at VB, a seek at HHI and points left over.:cool1:

Mostly 2 bdrms as we usually have family or friends with us. I think we've only used a studio one or twice for just the two of us. I must have a washer/dryer in our unit since we don't have daily housekeeping, never liked laundry mat type facilities.

With two small kids we like a 1 BR. When we all try to sleep in 1 room it takes forever to get them to sleep. Once the kids are older we'll either be able to stay in a studio more because we'll all go to bed at similar times, or we'll need a two bedroom because they won't want to share a pullout! :scared:

I love the Murphy bed in VGC, that will enable us to stay in 1 BRs for much longer!

We are a family of 5 and absolutely love the 2br units. We stayed in a 1br once, and while it was still wayyy better than a hotel room, we are spoiled by the 2brs.

However, I am taking the 3 kids to Disney by myself in March for spring break and the 4 of us are staying in a studio for the first time. That should be interesting.

Depends on the time of year and points left at that time. ;) If we really needed a Disney fix, a BWV studio for 5 days during the first of December is only 45 pts.. but really we did a studio twice, just the 2 of us and then the three of us (2yr old at the time) and probably never will go back unless we absolutely need too especially now that we have 2 little ones. 1BRs really do spoil you. Again, thank you BWV standard view. ;)

We are "points challenged" here so we use studios in order to stretch our points to the max. and get as many trips as we can on them!
