Size of the WDW Theme Parks (compared to Hershey)

Bear in mind that the entire Magic Kingdom - which isn't necessarily 'tiny' - can fit entirely into the lake in the middle of EPCOT.

While the World Showcase Lagoon is big, from what I can see using google maps, MK is still larger than it.

Well, here are the two parks, side-by-side, captured at the same size-ratio.

While MK won't QUITE fit into the Lagoon, (the central area doesn't miss by too much) it is decidedly smaller than Epcot.

Willcad makes an excellent point. Hershey is a large park and has nice attractions but the hills kill you. I hate them with a passion. To the point that I don't care to go anymore. I'd rather save that HP money and put it toward the much more fun, entertaining, easy parks at WDW.

I've also done both quite a bit. IMO I think what tires me out most in WDW is not the square footage, but the constant mental stimulation. There is ALWAYS something to look at or listen to. Somehow that's more exhausting to me than hiking the hills of Hershey.

or Six Flags?

I'm just trying to figure out how much walking we're going to be doing. I think Hershey is a pretty large park, especially if you head to the Boardwalk area right away. Are the WDW park sizes comparable? Thx in advance! :)

Maybe this will help.

(Still trying to post photos in an email.)

I felt like we did the most walking at Animal Kingdom, because we did so much back-tracking there. Even tho EPCOT is larger we were able to complete our touring in one area before we moved on. We criscrossed AK several times. I'm not sure what we did wrong although part of the problem was that when we first went to EE, it was not running. (We got a fast pass and went back later.)
