Magic Band Discount?

There used to be a flat $10 discount on a magic band. At times, there was a 10% discount, 20% discount, 25% discount, and even a 30% discount available through the Disney Store online. There was also a discount available online linked to the reservation.

I looked under "shopping" in the dvcmember site and there's nothing specifically listed for magic bands. Anyone have any idea which way I should buy the band at the cheapest price?

In person at WDW, MagicBands are eligible for the AP or DVC merchandise discount. The $10 pre-arrival discount was discontinued back in Oct 2025.

Yes using your DVC discount in person is the cheapest way. It only takes a minute to sync up your newly purchased band.

Prior to your trip you’d have to use an online discount code when they are offered that includes magic band.
