I know I am hyper planning now. But does anyone know the dimensions of the drawer that is in the bed of the VGF studio? I am trying to make some packing decisions. I bought some packing cubes and wanted to see how many will fit inside.

TIA
Ana

I haven't been in awhile and don't know any exact measurements but I think they were about 10 or 11 inches high, about 20-24 inches deep and around 3 feet long.

Off course you cannot access the entire drawer at VGf as it is blocked by the nightstand.

You can move the night stand ;)

The drawers are pretty big and their is space on the other side of the bed to tuck away luggage. There are shelves in the closet but we also brought a closet organizer just in case we needed more space.

I don't like to hear that guests are moving furniture, it gets damaged without that sort of stress on it.

Maybe they can just get rid of the nightstand and add a shelf .

Thanks for the answers. We leave Friday and I am getting a little nervous about storage. I think I have a pretty good plan. We will see how it goes.

I've never understood the need to unpack and put things in drawers, I guess it's a nesting thing. :-)

I don't know the dimensions but here's the bed drawer space in our std view studio 1105.

both drawers are the same depth but full access to 1 was blocked by the nightstand.
(which also has 2 small drawers)

space was tight. studio 1105 did not have shelves in the closet (this was Dec 2013 - not sure if that's changed)

On the other hand, our lake view studio 1504 had a combination of drawer space and closet shelving. Plenty of room to put things.

Awesome the pictures are great. I feel much better about space. I hate stuff lying around everywhere. There will be 5 of us in the studio. Crazy I know! We don't hang out in the room much. But I still don't like it messy.
We are bringing duffel bags so we don't have suitcases to contend with. Duffel bags can zip into a small bag. The packing cubes will go into the drawers.

We just got back from a studio with 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We all had full size suitcases and used packing cubes. There is plemty of room. We used the 1 drawer and the closet for 3 of us. There is a hidden panel at the foot of the bed and stores a full size suitcase in there! We kept the last suitcase on the luggage rack in the hall. My husband made a second nightstand out of a suitcase on the side of the bed without one. It really all worked out well.

We just got back and had a similar experience. I was able to use the drawer by the nightstand with my packing cubes. I would have to fish a little bit for the back ones. But I felt truly organized.
