How wide is the laundry room in OKW one bedrooms? I figure it must be at least 3 feet wide, because it's a hallway to the bathroom in some configurations, and I think that's the minimum width.

My DD doesn't like to share a bed, so we're bringing an air matress for her. I'm trying to figure out a good place for it. She likes really DARK rooms for sleeping, while her brother likes at least a nightlight. If that hallway is wide enough, she would really prefer to set up in there.

I'm pretty sure it at leat 3', probably closer to 42" of actual floor space, allowing for the door jambs.

She should be fine. The mattress will fill most of the area and as long as no one wants to use that way to get to the bathroom during the night she should be all set as far as privacy and darkness and not get stepped on. Don't forget a sleeping bag or sheets and a lightweight blanket. We have put air mattresses in the living room where the chair usually sits and that works well also. You would have the issue of the nightlight there though.

Thanks! If I get my requests, we'll be in the building without the doorway to the bathroom anyway. Living in Tampa, we've got lots of room to bring stuff!

My mom always teases DD that she's trying to be Harry Potter. She's slept in the master closets several times before! She just likes those cozy dark spaces.

Depends on the air matress. We had a twin sized inflatable bed with once, and it was a bit too wide to fit easily in front of the washer and dryer. A smaller thinner one would be fine though. Lots of kids like those closed in little spaces.
