size of the GAC

I am wondering if anyone can give me the dimensions of the GAC. I am trying to find some sort of plastic holder for it. In the years we have gone before, by the end of the trip it was getting very crumpled, from being shoved in and out of the fanny pack. If I could find something to put it in with a clip or a lannard then that would be wonderful. Any tips?

It's pretty big..I'm guessing about 4x5 so it's probably going to be hard to find anything big enough to hang on a lanyard. I carried a messenger style bag that went acrodd my body and the outer compartment was teh perfect size for putting the GAC into when we weren't using it.

It's 3" x 5". I put my son's in a ticket holder from a golf tournament (perfect size!) on a lanyard around his neck. Worked very well.

I fold it in half with the main part to the outside and then put it in the standard clear plastic Disney holder that hold credit cards and tickets. It is a bit tight but I don't think I have ever had to take it out. I just show it and can flip over to the other side as needed. But I also haven't needed to use it very often.

We use both Hydro pak and camelbak pouches that go inside the backpack. The company sent me some extras and they are completely waterproof, easy to open should the need arise and hold the GAC and KTTW perfectly all in one place.

We also just hang it on the lanyard and then I put in the my baggalinni with the pouch discreetly hanging off the side of the zippered bag.

In a quick moment I can reach around, grab the pouch and show it to the CM without having to fumble or make a scene.

Thank you for asking this question. We're getting ready to leave in a few weeks and I thought someone had said a fishing license holder would fit a GAC but it looks too small to me. I was just getting ready to post this question.

We bought a Rooby Water Resistant Passport Holder for the GAC. Fits perfect and it's stays dry. Came with a lanyard. But just checked the Rooby website and it's closed? Maybe you could get one on ebay?

Are the holders you can buy to go with the Disney lanyards waterproof? Fizpa just made me think of this as we go on a lot of water rides.

I wouldn't say that they are waterproof. Maybe water resistant? They have a plastic zipper on the top, but that isn't water tight, and they do break easily. I still use mine, it just doesn't zip anymore. I certainly wouldn't wear it to a waterpark or in the pool. But I don't think I would take it off for Splash or Kali River Rapids (the only 2 rides I can think of that you would get really wet). I might tuck it inside my shirt, but if I was really worried I would probably just put the lanyard in my bag or even in a ziplock and then in my bag.

I have worn mine during downpours where I was quite wet with no problems with the content. You can always get another GAC if yours gets soaked. It is just a pain to have to go back to GS.
