Size of mini refrgerators at the Dolphin ?

Now that WDW resorts offer dorm sized refrigerators - those small square ones. - What is the size of the Dophin's ?

I heard you can pay $15 to clean out the Dolphin refrigerators and use them for your own items.

I called the Dophin. They said $20 one time fee to empty the mini-refrgerator.
Dolphin said no need to be on my ressie. They will do it when we arrive and have our room assigned to us.
But they said it was mini - like a 10" by 10" box.

Has anyone seen one ?
Do you know really know how big/small they are ?

Would it find a quart of milk ?
Does it stay cold enough for milk ?

We stayed at the Swan last November and the refrigerator was small. Like the cube fridge (dorm size), or maybe smaller -- I can't remember exactly. Even with it cleaned out, it wouldn't have much room. My youngest was 18 months old at the time and we kept a small container of milk in the fridge, even with all the other 'mini bar' stuff and it worked out ok for us. I really don't think it's worth $15 or $20 to have them take everything out.

I was there 3 wks ago and the mini fridge was locked...it looks like it would hold some milk and a few items but Im assuming you need to call to have this opened.

The mini-bar fridge can be cleaned out for a 1 time charge of $20+tax. It is cheaper than requesting a separate fridge where the charge is at least $10 daily. The mini-bar fridge will hold a half gallon of milk (on it's side) and several other bottles (soft drinks, juice). Our fridge was not as cold as I would have liked it to be, so to ensure that our milk did not spoil we put it in a plastic bag filled with ice. It all fit nicely.

Thanks for the ice suggestion. We will do. Easier than getting a foam cooler.

Yes - the Dolphin has to unlock it. I guess that is why they can clean it out and charge the one time use when our room is assigned.
