Is there a specific size limit on carry on suitcases? I just went on Jet Blue & all
they mention is the liquids.

We are flying Jet Blue in a few weeks!

Anyway I'm not sure of the measurements but your bag has to fit beneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead..

Have a Great Time!

copied from the Jet Blue Web Site:

Carry-on Requirements
Each customer may bring one bag that fits in the overhead bin plus one personal
item (purse, briefcase, laptop, etc.) that fits under the seat in front of you. Your
personal item must not exceed 18"l x 15"w x 8"h in order to fit under the seat in
front of you.

To fit in the overhead bin, your item must not exceed:

for our Airbus A320: 26 inches length x 18 inches width x 12 inches height
for our EMBRAER 190: 24 inches length x 16 inches width x 10 inches height

those are the ridiculous new JetBlue allowances we discussed a few weeks ago.

I use my 25 inch suitcase for trips of 6 weeks. I can't imagine anyone being able to lift that into an overhead bin. Also, my 21 inch barely fits into an A320 bin, so I have no idea how JetBlue thinks that this will work.

There may be a lot of travellers who are told that their carry on bags will need to be gate checked as the bins are already full with 26 inch suitcase...

Or full because people put both their carryon bag and personal item in the overhead bins.

I wish they would make a rule that on any flight more than half full, any bag that can't fit into the overhead wheels first gets checked, no exceptions unless it's carrying medical equipment.
