Six nights, Dream Maker Silver....can you split resorts?

Well I truly don't know if I will ever make up my mind about which resort to try. Here's what I know for sure.

Plane tickets are bought. We'll be there for six nights. Dream Maker Silver is a must. Thinking of spending the first 3 nights at CSR and then moving over to POFQ for the remaining 3 nights (unless I make a final decision for one over the other  )

I priced out six nights at a moderate with the DMS package and it was $2587. For two (3) night stays it came out to $2800 or so. I"m assuming this is only because its two separate reservations so you end up getting charged double for park passes for the day you would check out and into the next.

Has anyone ever done this? Can CRO give you a split stay for the same price as if you just stayed at the same resort?

Hi BWGirl

Your assumption is correct.

I ran into this dilemma when we were considering a split stay with the silver package.
About the only thing I know you can do is this :
Book your first 3 night stay as a package in resort #1.
Book one night room only at resort #2. Your package from resort #1 will not "run out" until midnight of the day you check out......therefore,you can use the park tickets and wishes you have left that day.
Then you can book another 3 day package at resort #2 for the rest of your vacation.
(I am quite certain that you can only buy packages for 3 or more nights)

This will extend your vacation by a day( 7 nights instead of 6) and you may have to reconfigure a few wishes around, but its totally doable.

The downside is, 3 seperate ressies and 3 seperate deposits that must be made ;(

If there is a way to simply do the 3 nights w/package + 3 nights w/package, and drop a day of UPH tickets, I am not aware of it.
But you know, it never hurts to call and ask ::yes::

Hope that helps.

I called WDTC and the answer I got was that I should book (2) 3 night package stays, but it is more expensive...by like $250. :(

So, not sure if I'm willing to do that.

Because my husband really would enjoy being able to eat out without worrying about paying the bill. Everytime we go he doesn't order what he really wants (steak!) because its costly. This way, with the package, he can get what he wants and enjoy it.
