Six Flags Magic Mountain

This is our first time to LA and we are planning a day at SFMM. We've never been to a six flags.
I have a couple of questions. How busy is it likely to be on a friday in August? What order do we do the rides in? What waiting times are likely for the rides?
Any tips and suggestions would be greatly received.
I was thinking of starting with the new Green Lantern ride seeing as its new and then making that the starting point going in an anti-clockwise direction - is this any good do you think?

I've never been to Six Flags Magic Mountain but, I've been doing my own research for a trip in September. Right now, X2 is the ride you want to get to as soon as the ride opens. It loads fairly slowly and tends to have long lines all day long. We'll need to see once Green Lantern opens if that changes. But it's also looks like a slow loader.
